The Artist

I'm Matthew — a technical artist with a BFA in Animation from SCAD. I fell in love with technical art because it sits exactly where I like to be: at the meeting point of logic and artistic expression, where solving the problem and making it beautiful turn out to be the same task.

Away from the screen I'm usually deep in a strategy game, min-maxing systems and turning a problem over until it gives. It's the same instinct that pulls me toward technical art: I like getting under the hood and figuring out how things actually work. If something here speaks to you, I'd love to talk.
